Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam has rightly said that, “Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber and future of an individual. If people remember me as a good teacher that will be the biggest honour for me.” – I feel myself so engrosed in these lines because teaching is not just my profession but my passion as well. I can very well relate to the contentment that Dr.Kalam is talking about because years after my service when I will see these Kids establish themselves as responsible citizens of society, I am pretty sure that my joy would simply be uncomparable. I feel immensely contented while putting my efforts to think out of the box in shaping these young minds. Every child is blessed in his/her unique style and has a different learning style and pace. So, I feel it is extremely essential to create a flexible play way method of learning based on each child’s interest and aptitude. Secondly, parents as well as teachers should be extremely cautious about the situations and experiences that a child faces in his/her early childhood because the quality of experiences during this crucial period builds the foundation for physical, emotional, social and cognitive development of a child in his/her later life.
So, ever since I have started this new venture on Jan 2021, I feel, I have taken a great responsibility in moulding these curious minds into responsible citizens who has the skill of facing every adversity of life in a positive way.
Being associated with these innocent Kids, I have realized that during the process of teaching the Kids about the facts of life, the Kids themselves have made me reflect about life in a different perspective and I feel so grateful to the Almighty for giving me the opportunity to turn my passion into my profession.
Last, but not the least, let me take the priviledge of thanking every parent for having faith in us and entrusting us with the responsibility of taking care of their little hearts. I sincerely feel that we are all part of an extended family now. Thank you all for being so co-operative.
